STAMPERS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Stampers Can Make a Difference! This is a post from the Sweet 'n Sassy Blog I thought I would share here...

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps believes it's important to make a difference in the lives of those in need.

Since yesterday wasWorld Card Making Day we'd like to challenge you to make cards for those who need encouragement!! If you decide to take part in this challenge, please let me know by commenting to this post. Please only comment if you plan to participate. As a way of saying thanks, I will be entering each participant into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate to our store. The drawing will be held on Saturday, October 18th by 9am EST.

Here's what we'd like you to do....

Card Shower for Janessa - Korin's little niece is going through a tough time right now. Her white cell count is too low for her to start her next round of chemo and they may have to take a bone marrow sample if her counts don't go up soon so they can find out what is keeping her count from rising. You can read more of her story here.

Her 2nd birthday is October 13th and it is very possible that she will spend it in the hospital, so let's shower her with cards and gifts to brighten her birthday! She loves when mommy and daddy read books to her while she spends weeks at a time in the hospital, so if you feel lead to send more than a card, I am sure a children's book would bring her much joy and many smiles! You can send your cards and gifts to: Janessa Joseph 288 Grandview Rd. Hummelstown, PA 17036

Please also pray for little Janessa and her family. They still have a long road ahead of them.

And while you are making a card for Janessa...

Card Shower for the Judd FamilyMany of you know of Carolyn King (AKA Cammie). She's a fantastic stamper and artist and a wonderful person with a huge heart. Her friends, the Judd Family, need your encouragement. Their precious little girl Anna, who was only 13 months old, went home to be with the Lord the morning of September 23rd. You can read her story here. It happened very suddenly and as you can imagine has shocked the entire family. The Judd's also have an adorable little boy, Elijah, age 5. The pain of this loss must be more than we can imagine. Won't you consider sending them a card to let them know you are praying for them?

You can send cards to:The Judd Family c/o Carolyn King 31107 La Quinta Dr. Georgetown, TX 78628

Carolyn will then send the cards on to the family as she receives them. Please also pray for the Judd family. Pray that the Lord gives them comfort as they move on after this tragic loss.I know your hearts weigh heavy after reading of these two precious families, but remember that God is in control. He has a purpose and plan for each and every situation we face. And he just may have put you in your seat right now, in front of this screen, to read this blog post, so He could work through YOU to bring comfort and love to some of his children!
May God richly bless you for sharing his love!!
Korin -
