KEEP ON TRACK!

Hello Friends! I took last week off for vacation... but now I am back and will be posting. I had a wonderful time away on vacation (we went to the Wisconsin Dells again) but ended up coming home with Strep Throat! NOT FUN! In fact, my Uvula was so swollen it was hanging on my tongue - that felt VERY weird! ICKY too!!! I am one day into my antibiotics and feeling a little better.

Anyways - to help get my MOJO flowing, I decided to play along in the Splitcoast Stampers Clean and Simple (CAS) Challenge. This week's challenge was to make a card using Red, Black and White! My sister and a few friends of mine are in the process of losing weight, so I thought this would be a perfect card to send to one of them! KEEP ON TRACK!

Do you have goals you are trying to achieve? I have SO many but my weight is one of the ones I am working on...

Here are the details...

Stamps: All Aboard from Mark's Finest Papers
Paper: Black, White, Red
Ink: Black and Red
Accessories: Polka Dot Ribbon, Viva Pearl Pens, Dimensionals, Scissors, Big Shot, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder

Thanks for stopping by! Come back tomorrow for another creation!!

Paper Temptress - Color Sandwich

Hello Friends! Welcome to my little corner of the world! I hope this finds you well. Over at Our Daily Bread Designs Blog is our Scrapbook Challenge and while this doesn't use an ODBD stamp today, I wanted to put a shout out for you to check out the challenge and some Inspiration from Patter and Lorelie, too!

My page today uses the shimmery and FABULOUS card stock from The Paper Temptress. If you have NOT checked out their store, let me encourage you to do so. Patricia really knows how to wet our appetites for high quality, beautiful papers! I used the Silver Lustre package, which helped add to the technique I used!

The technique I used is from the
Technique Junkie Newsletter and the technique called Color Sandwich to add a soft colored background.

The stamps/ images are from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, I believe they are retired now. I also used the ZVA Pearls and the
Ecstasy Small Template from ODBD

We have a busy day planned today, so off I go! I hope you have a blessed day! Thank you for stopping by!

Now if you recall, I started Weight Watchers a few weeks ago. Originally I started the Online Program, but found I really needed more support so I started going to the meetings. I had NO loss the first few weeks, but this past Tuesday when I did my weigh in I was down 2.4 pounds! Yippee! :) I am finding the support I am getting at the meetings (I have gone to 2 so far) and the tips they share to be VERY helpful!

Anyways, you came here to see my card! This is a SNEAK PEEK to a new set from Mark's Finest Papers called Sand, Surf, Relax! I created this using Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge and Clean and Simple Challenge. The CAS Challenge was to use ribbon and scrunch it!
