PATH OF LIFE...

Hello Everyone! Today - we had a SNOW DAY! The kids had fun making their Valentine's. They weren't too happy that I made them do some Math, History and Reading - because the public schools were closed...

I created this card for the Our Daily Bread Designs Shining Light Challenge. We were supposed to use hearts, so I added the brads.

This card uses the MONO DIES and Wisped Frames technique from the Technique Junkies Newsletter.

Here are a few more details:
Stamp Set: Path of Life
Ink: Burgundy, Copics
Cardstock: Burgundy, White, Artichoke
Accessories: Nestibilities, Stamp-a-ma-jih, buttons, gold threads, Dimensionals, heart brads, Big Shot, Xyron

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!

PARIS THINKING OF YOU

Hello Friends! Here in Wisconsin we are getting a big Snow Storm! It has been so brown and cold here in SE Wisconsin, that frankly I am THRILLED to see the snow...Plus that means I can lay low and RELAX today. Wait...I do that most days! LOL I actually have a really laid back schedule this year which I am LOVING! I have said NO to many things to slow down my pace and enjoy that quiet time with my family and the kids. I LOVE IT!!! There is only one day a week that I am running a lot with the children and that is Thursdays.

When creating this card, I used Splitcoast Stampers Featured Stamper - I used Karen Bar's card HERE:
Things I changed was:
1. I used I Brake For Stamps images
2. Colored the image with Copics instead of embossing
3. Used TJ Newsletter and made the BG with the Camoflauge technique
4. I also moved the circle down to the bottom of the focal point
5. Used a scallop punch along the bottom
6. added gems to the upper corner and along the Scallop

I also created this card using the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenges #25 - Here
We were supposed to use two of the same type of things - but different. I used 2 different cardstocks - Black and Burgundy CS

Background uses the Technique Junkies Newsletter technique called CAMOFLAUGE -

Here are a few more details:
Stamps: I Brake For Stamps - Paris and Heart Collage, Circle of Friends
Paper: Burgandy, Black, White
Ink: Copics, Burgandy, More Mustard, Memento
Accessories: Gold Gems, Camoflauge Technique Junkies Newsletter, Scallop Punch, Circle Punches
Techniques: Camoflauge by Technique Junkies

Today the kids will be making Valentine's for a party we are going to on Thursday! That will be LOTS of fun!!!

Thank you for taking a closer look and commenting! Have a great day!

Hello! This card is one I made for the February/March Technique Junkies using a Technique called Design Junkies.

I have been working on my schedule at home, trying to balance everything. This year has been our BEST school year yet. I am finding myself much more relaxed and able to focus on spending time with the LORD.

Last week, I had a few FUN e-mails...Della from I Brake for Stamps invited me to join her Design Team, so after a few days of prayer and setting up my schedule I decided to join the Team! While these images above are not I Brake For Stamps I will be showing you some projects with them in the next few days.

One thing I LOVED about I Brake For Stamps is I get to offer you a DISCOUNT! When you shop at I Brake For Stamps and upon checking out use the discount code SAVE10CHRIS and get 10% OFF your order!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great day!!!
