Thomas Kincade with Christmas Pointsettia

One of my friends (Janette- thank you!) sent me some Thomas Kincade images, so I grabbed that and ran it through the Big Shot with the Top Note Die. She had already scored it for me, so I sponged around the sky with Night of Navy Ink and then colored the windows and lights with yellow.

Sunday is Featured Stamper Day and we had such a beautiful gallery filled with the most amazing cards by Paulatracy...I used this card for my inspiration here. Check out her gallery, it is VERY IMPRESSIVE!

The Sisterhood Challenge - Holiday Greetings

Yesterday was an AWESOME day of quiet time. I went to a home in a country setting on a quiet lake. So the beauty of the day was absolutely glorious. I will share in a different post another day about what I learned about myself...

I came home last night to a BIG BOX of goodies that I ordered, plus some DT things. The Design Team things were NEW stamps that will be released November 1. Can I explain to you how HARD it was not to create a project to share with those today? AHHHHHHH ---almost impossible, but I resisted the temptation.





I will be making a card with those stamps today, but will share EVERY DAY next week! Our Blog HOP starts on Monday, October 27.




Today is my Fabulous Sisterhood of Blogging Stampers Challenge Day! The challenge is a sketch challenge and now that I am posting it to my blog - I see I missed a panel and a portion. So this is my version of I do not follow directions very well. LOL

Today, I am tired of coloring my pointsettias burgundy, pink, red, etc. So I decided to go with a PURPLE POINTSETTIA. That image below was my inspiration.






This was some designer paper that was NEW and available at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps - called EVA from Basic Grey. It is soooo pretty! I love it!

BLOGGERS CHALLENGE 68

This week's Bloggers Challenge was a FUN one. I enjoyed it a lot. Actually, I enjoy all of the challenges, but some of them I enjoy more. Make sense? LOL

Yesterday, I was coloring some images for another project I am working on and had colored my Pointsettia Wreath for that project. As I sat down to look at the Inspiration Bloggers Challenge this card immediately popped into my head. So I quick grabbed my things and put this card together.


In between making this creation, my children are learning about volcanoes in Science - so they made one and I had to go watch it explode. I will share pictures and details on a later post. But that was fun for my children to build and fun to watch too.

I know this lay out is not the most original, but can I use the excuse of I feel sleepy today? LOL I really wanted to keep this card simple because I I felt the image in the scallops from Nestibilities (my new toys!) were a little busy. While my girlfriend Debbie was here this morning she mentioned the Swiss Dots folder for the Cuttlebug, so I decided to use that as my background when I sat down to finish this card.

Christmas Pointsettias + OCC Challenge

This weeks OCC Challenge is this sketch! I have not had much mojo this week due to the Character Building Opportunities I have had, but thought I should TRY tonight! Still not a whole lot of creative juices and I decided I do not like the clip on top, but this just goes to show you...we can't win 'em all. LOL

This stamp set, Christmas Pointsettia is my own design! It will be Released OCTOBER 1 at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

I used the Core'dinations cardstock for this card too.
