BELLI CHALLENGE #92 - FLAT

Hello! Today is Belli Challenge!!! This week's challenge is a SKETCH and we are to use
any FLAT embellishments you have lying around. It can be stickers, rub-ons, cut-out images (ephemera), die-cuts, etc. The sky's the limit, as long as you have a flat embellishment on there.
Remember, the spirit of these challenges is to use those OLD and FORGOTTEN embellishments.

Here is what you need to do to play along...

1. Anyone can play! Spread the word! :)
2. Make a completed card / layout using the sketch below and any FLAT embellishments! Grab something you have had lying around for ages! It could be ANYTHING - stickers, rub-ons, cut-out images (ephemera), die-cuts, etc
3. Post a DIRECT link using Mr. Linky to your newly created project (no links to older projects or links to your blog home page, please) . We want to check out your project and leave you some love/comments!
4. In your post or project description , mention that you are playing along with our challenge and link back to the BELLI CHALLENGE.
Also, if you are posting to an online gallery, add CBC92 as a KEYWORD.
5. Oh and don't forget, if you find our challenge inspirational, we would love for your to leave us comments as well. Each designer's name is above the photo of her project and will link you to her blog.

WARHOL - Try That Technique Challenge

Hello Friends- Happy Saturday!!! :) Today does NOT feel like Saturday! It feels more like a Monday. I am preparing to go to work in a bit and before doing so...I took a few challenges!

The first challenge I took was the Technique Junkie Blog Challenge. Every Thursday they do a Try That Technique from past Newsletters! This weeks challenge was to create a card using the Warhol Technique found in the Feb. 2005 Newsletter. If you don't have these issues, no worries! You can get them for half-price this week (plus shipping) -- only $9.00 for 6 issues. Just email Pat for an invoice, and you will be creating Warhol masterpieces of your own before you know it!

The next Challenge was using the Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge. You can find that HERE.
Here are some more details on my card:
Stamp Sets: Flower Bouquet and Happy Birthday from QKR STAMPEDE, Frames with a Flourish retired SU
Cardstock: Tangerine, Pixie Pink and Kiwi Kisses
Accessories: Button Brads, Technique Junkie Newsletter, Kiwi Kiss Ribbon

MAY MAYHEM MADNESS - Bloggers Challenge

Hello! Welcome to the MAY MAYHEM themed Blog Hop for Firecracker Designs By Pamela!

The official start time of this Hop is Friday, at 8:00 AM(EST). If you arrived early, please be patient as all the links may not be live yet.

Todays BLOG HOP has a MAY MAYHEM...
Create something grungey & distressed. The more mayhem, the merrier. Well, this challenge was difficult to me, so I went to two very talented people's blogs for some inspiration - Gerrie Johnnic and Shelly Hickox. Both of these talented designers are on the Technique Junkie Design Team with me and I knew they would not disappoint me with INSPIRATION!

I combined this Blog Hop with the BLOGGERS CHALLENGE... I missed last week - but in order to catch up, I made TWO cards this week!

The first card uses the Bloggers Challenge from last week that was a COLOR CHALLENGE! We were to use the colors Teal, Red and Curry... those colors do not lend to the grunge affect very well, but I took the challenge!

Here are the details:
Cardstock: Polka dot DP by SU, Vanilla, Teal, Red
Accessories: Brads, Distresser, Stickles, Ribbon, Lace inked with Curry ink, Copics, Nestibilities

This week's challenge is this SKETCH. I turned it to the side and moved the circles up a bit...

BCMaysketch

Here are the details for my card:
Cardstock: Coordinations, Vanilla, Chocolate, Sage, DP (sorry do not recall the name!)
Accessories: Copics, Rough Texture Wheel, Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Distresser, Bling Gems

This is a “circular blog hop” where the only beginning is wherever you start!! You will know you are at the end of your blog hop when you’ve come back to the blog you’ve started from! (It’s not a huge circle…so it should be easy to remember where you started.)

**To find out if you’ve won… you will be contacted by Pamela via e-mail (so be sure to leave it with your comment.) and you can also find out on Pamela’s blog after the blog hop ends on Mon, at 8:00 PM (EST).**

Now, to continue the circle, you will need to hop on over to the talented MICHELLE'S BLOG and keep going until you’ve come back to where you’ve started!

Thanks so much for playing along with us and we hope you have a great time! You can check out the other Blogger Challenge participants projects click on the side bar that says BLOGGERS Challenge!
