TOPSY TURVY BIRTHDAY!

Hi Friends!! Welcome!  Have you joined in on the NEW FUN Challenges yet? Classy Cards & Such is hosting a Sketch Challenge this week. You can find out all of the information HERE. We would LOVE To have you join us!

On todays card, I used the Canadian Kaliedoscope Doily Cheery Lynn Die cut out in Lavender Bazzill Cardstock. One trick I have found with using these FABULOUS Cheery Lynn dies is to use a Cuttlehug Large plate. This helps for a cleaner cut and eliminates the need for extra paper shims. I also find I do not have to do so much detail poking out of all of those little clinkers that get caught in the paper.

Once the die was cut out, I stamped the TOPSY TURVY CAKES stamp set by JustRite in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on White Storm card stock and colored the in with the following Copic Inks: BG000, BG05, BG07, RV29, R000, R39, R32, Y15, Y11, V000, V25, V20, YG17, YG67, YG00. I used the Technique Junkie Newsletter and the Out of the Box technique to have the spacing fit where I wanted it to on the sketch.  Once I completed that,  I stamped the small flowers and colored them too. I cut them out and added them to white cardstock in a small cluster and using a 1 3/8" and a 1 1/2" Circle punch, I punched some layers and used Joy! Foam Pads to add a little dimension to my project and pop up the flowers. To finish off the card I added White Pearls in three of the corners.
I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and take a look! Have a wonderful day!

Framed Window Lilacs

Hello Everyone -

I know! Lilacs are for summer time...Let's just say I am day dreaming! lol Actually, this is a card for my grandmother. She turned 86 on Saturday and as always, I am late in sending out a card!

A little health update on me... I am doing much better. Each day I feel a little less pain. That is such a blessing! I am experiencing some nausea today, but I think it was more from something I ate and lack of sleep last night than anything else. I wasn't feeling well last night either...but compared to a week ago, I am feeling better. :)

Anyways, about my card!!! Congratulations to Lisa being chosen as the Featured Stamper on Splitcoast Stampers today!! She has such a wonderful gallery filled with so many great projects! I chose this one -

The things I changed are:
1. The colors and stamps
2. Instead of a bow, I added lace and words
3. I added an additional layer with the Spellbinders.

SNAP DRAGONS!

Hello Friends! Welcome to my blog. I had these posts ready, but not scheduled correctly. I ended up going to the Hospital Monday night for severe stomach cramping. While there we discovered my appendix was inflamed and preparing to erupt. They admitted me and I have surgery early Tuesday morning. I am so blessed by wonderful friends. Due to my husband's work situation, we didn't have health insurance until last week! I am giving GOD all of the praise for the hedge of protection, He placed over our family during that transition!

While I am in pain, GOD has blessed me with such wonderful friends. The timing for surgery happened at a good time. So I can't complain there! :) GOD is SOOOOO Good!!!

Anyways, I am confident that you are wanting to know more about this project! :) This is a die cut from Creative Cuts and More, but I do not recall what Terry is calling it. It is the perfect size for a gift card!!!

For the background on this project I used  Woven Plaid stamped in White Craft Ink, Open Plaid stamped in Mambo Melon. I used Snap Dragon Diamond and Snap Dragon Greeting from DRS Designs

Here are a few more details...
Accessories: Viva Pearl Pen, White Gel Pen, Copic Markers, Paper snips, Dimensionals, Basic Grey Brads, Pink Gingham ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

PYRAMID CARD - FANCY FOLDS AND MOTION

Hello Everyone - Today over on Splitcoast is the Technique Lovers Challenge and I had created this PYRAMID card using the Technique Junkie Newsletter Fancy Fold and Motion Cd. You can find all of the information on my side bar! It really and truly is worth the money - there are 60 step by step pictorial tutorials with easy to understand instructions to create these cards!!!
