PIGMENT SCRUNCH AND A BELLI ANNOUNCEMENT

Good morning! I have been a busy stamper this weekend...I seem to have been on more of a "PURPLE KICK" this week and this card lends itself to no acception! :) I used a background sheet I had remaining from the Technique Junkies (http://www.patstamps.com/) Pigment Scrunch. One great thing with many of those techniques, is when you make them, many times it creates more than one project. So I actually have several sheets than I set askide for later or sometimes I get on a roll and create a lot of projects at once. I included the link because for whatever reason, blogger doesn't like the link when I try to link up with a word.

Tomorrow is BELLI CHALLENGE DAY and here is some special information! For a little over a year now, we have been doing a Challenge called Chrissy's Belli Challenge. I started it with Danita and Holly, but kept it up and running until recently when Holly and Danita have started helping a bit more with some administrative things, so we decided to create this blog AND change the name...because it really isn't about me - but using up our supplies!!!

This week, we will start hosting the Challenges here and you can all HOP over to the Design Team's Blogs which are located on the sidebar... We will also be featuring Mr Linky, so you can participate here as well!

In addition to that exciting news, we will be doing two different things -

1. Every other week, we will be having a Guest Designer...
2. We are looking for Sponsors for prizes! Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is generously offering some Digi-stamps. If you know of anyone else who would like to sponsor us one time or every 4-6 weeks, we would LOVE it!

We have a new Banner and would be SO honored if you put it on your blog! This Blinkie and Banner was designed by Dani at Dani gets Crafty! I absolutely LOVE her style - clean and simple and WOW. My mind does not go there when I stamp so I admire this style because I do not do it well. Go share some love to Dani. I think she did a beautiful job on the banner and blinkie!

Now for some of you who may be new to the Belli Blog, you may wonder what in the heck our Belli's have to do with Paper Crafting!?

What is the Belli Challenge you ask?Belli's = Embellishments. Each week, I try to give us a challenge that will use things we have lying around our stamp rooms or homes! With a constant flow of new things coming out, I tend to forget about the other things I have and they quickly become clutter!

Exciting Announcement

Hello Friends -

Have you ever had such exciting news you can hardly contain yourself? I think it has been 5 days that I have not slept due to sheer excitement!!!

There is a bit of sad news to go along with it though and quite honestly a large part of me is in a mourning process at the same time I am celebrating...

I submitted some of my personal drawings/artwork to the owner of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and she liked them! So as of August 1, I am stepping down from my Stampin' Up! Demonstratorship to become a Designer for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. My first stamp set will be released as of September 1!!! I am so excited and hopeful.

This is such a wonderful opportunity that God has blessed me with!
