BLOGGERS CHALLENGE SKETCH & CHRISTMAS COLLAGE

Hello! Happy Friday! Today, we are heading out to see the Musical "School House Rock" put on by the Christian Youth Theater. We are very excited to be going... okay... maybe I am more excited. I bought the dvds of School House Rock and truthfully, my kids thought they were lame. They didn't have anything to do with Star Wars, so what good are they? LOL When they are in the 7th grade they will appreciate the I'm just a Bill and other songs about government... Besides, what could be MORE fun to learning than having a SONG to go with the lesson? Ahhh the beauty of home schooling! I love it!


My husband bought me a new camera and oh my... I LOVE IT. The picture quality is fabulous! I can take the first shot and not have to alter it too much. MARVELOUS. Such a huge time saver. For those of you wondering what kind he bought me it is a Canon Power Shot SX130IS. I do not know a lot about electronics, so what is nice is I can point and shoot. LOL

SNTODBD22 - QUILTING!

Hello Friends - Welcome!!! 

It is time for ODBD Stamping In Time Challenge(SNTODBD22)!  The assignment is Our Daily Bread Design stamps.  Lori Ulrich is our challenge host today!  It is the time here in the states where many people are starting to break out their winter clothing and warm furnishings to prepare for cooler temperatures.   Lori is challenging us to think QUILTS.  

You can create quilted patterns with designer paper, use actual fabrics, create dimension with puff paints, foam dots, or other medium, or even add some stitches real or faux in a variety of frames or patterns.  You can also think applique.   The main thing is to think QUILTS.  If it is used in the designing of a quilt, it works.  We look forward to seeing what you create using ODBD stamps!

I was creating another project and looked to see what our challenge was when I saw "quilts" and this idea popped in my head. I then hopped over to Splitcoast Stampers and saw their color challenge was to use Peach Parfait, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso.  I did not have the Peach Parfait, so I used Pumpkin Pie card stock and ink.

ODBDSLC36 THE CORD IS IN...

Hello Everyone!!! As much as I like ODBD Saturdays - I am away in Lansing, Iowa enjoying a Stamping/ Scrap-booking Retreat and today is my last day here as tomorrow I head home! The valley is so beautiful and it is a wonderful time to behold the Glory of God and His Creation!

A LOOK THROUGH MY WINDOW...

Hello Everyone - It is Tuesday and today, I am sharing a card using the wonderful Die Cuts from Creative Cuts and More!


I am prepping to go out of town for a few days. We are heading over to Village Creek Bible Camp for my bi-annual get away with my mom and friend Shelly. It is meant to be a Scrapbooking Retreat, but this round I am just going to stamp and RELAX. I am packing a few books and just planning to BE.


Now...regarding my project...I used Creative Cuts and More - Four Pane Window Card - A2 and the pumpkin die cut. I just LOVE these die cuts!!! They make such wonderful, fast projects that look FABULOUS!


I used the yummy, Shimmery Creative Inspiration Paints! These beautiful paints are easy to use, hold vivid color and are full of SHIMMER!!! Works with almost all surfaces.  Does awesome with Acetate. Cleans up easily with just soap and water. You can see all of the colors HERE. I used Burnt Sienna, Aqua Marine, Turquoise, Orange, Rustic Red, Burgundy, Evergreen, Mocha Latte, Mint, Green Olive, Tan, Chocolate, Raw Sienna, Sunshine, Pumpkin, Beige, Burnt Clay, Buttercup, Gold, Autumn Wheat, Antique Silver
