HELP FOR KATIE

Hi Everyone -I am sharing this today to help spread the word! I do not know this family, but I love several of the artists that are sharing their work here.

They would be thrilled if you would tell everyone about this fundraising be it blogs/facebook/twitter/forums or anywhere that will allow it

Katie Emmerson Renz married to Kevin with 3 beautiful boys the twins Nate & Will aged 5 and Hunter aged 10 had some news just before Christmas that has rocked their world as they know it.

Katie has been diagnosed with stage 4 Stomach Cancer and is currently undergoing her only option which is Chemotherapy.

Katie is a fellow crafter and is loved within the crafting community.you can read Katie's story on her own blog here but before you leave me I want you to see what all of the dedicated talented artists have designed for the Help for Katie cause.

You can see all of the images that they are giving away HERE.

They are collecting to help with Katie's Treatment and to give her lovely boys a treat too.

GIRLFRIENDS...

Hello Everyone- There are just some images that make me smile and this is one of them. While I stamped the sentiment, I do not agree with it. Quite honestly, I grabbed the wrong one and by the time I realized it... I had everything taped down. While the sentiment makes me smile, because of the fond things we as friends share... I do not agree whole heartedly with it.

I used the Technique Junkies Newsletter technique called Acetate Flowers from the January 2011 newsletter.

Here are some more details:
Accessories: Acetate, Heat Tool, Copic Markers, Paper Piercing Tool, Dazzling Gems Brads, Black grosgrain

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!

GRANDMA'S ARE....

Hello Everyone!!! Over the holiday, I had lots of time to stamp but many of the projects will be ones I share next month! Todays project is one I created last week for the Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge.

This week, the Technique Junkies Newsletter is sponsoring the Pile It On Challenge Blog and the theme is BRAND SPANKIN' NEW! Check it out and play along for a chance to win the new Fancy Folds and Motion Cd and a one year on-line subscription to the Technique Junkie Newsletter.

This STAR is a chipboard die cut from Creative Cuts and More! It is available as all of their die cuts are in a variety of colors, papers, sticky tape, vellum, velvet and even as this one is CHIPBOARD!

One thing you may not know is Creative Cuts and More sells card stock in individual sheets for your paper crafting and they have a NEW CALENDAR KIT!!! This kit contains a 12"x12" spiral bound blank 14 month calendar. This calender can begin with whatever month you want.

This 12" x 12" calendar kit is jam packed with supplies. Besides the calendar itself, we also include over 130 die cuts plus 14 sheets of 12" x 12" cardstock, plus 14 pieces of cardstock for mats plus 5 strips of cardstock. Besides the calendar and die cuts you will also receive black, gold, light blue and yellow diva drops. Everything you need to make a great calendar including 14 layouts is included. The only things you will need to add are photos and adhesive. Of course, you can always add embellishments from your stash to make the calender even more personal.

The kit is worth over $45 but we are offering it for $34.99.

You can even SAVE 10% off the cost of your order by using my discount code CC&M10CHRIS.

For this project, I used the Creative Inspirations Paint. You do not have to be a master at painting to LOVE these paints! They are SO creamy and filled with shimmer and SO much fun to play with. I used it today to paint my "grandma" and the chipboard to add a little PIZAZZ! This week, the Creative Inspirations Paint Design Team has a challenge to use CIRCLES. My paper has circles in it! Come play along. We would love to have you join us!

On this project I used: Tutu Pink, Fuschia, Blush, Antique Silver, Silver

Isn't this grandma so much fun? Over the holidays, my children were blessed to spend some time with  their grandmas! I saw this S.W.A.K. image over at I Brake for Stamps and knew I had to have it! ODBD and The Man In Brown...

Happy New Year everyone!!! Today is our last day of vacation and tomorrow we will return to normal life.  I have two things to share with you that I am very excited about! For those of you that visit the ODBD blog, you may have seen a new category in the sidebar called "Scrapbook Team." Well, I am here to officially annouce that yes, Our Daily Bread Designs will now have a scrapbook team!!!! The amazing Patter Cross and myself will be the two team members for now, and other ODBD designers will be joining us for the challenges.

We will be challenging you each month to create layouts of any size using Our Daily Bread Designs stamps. We will run the challenge for a month with new inspiration for the same challenge every Tuesday. This will give you plenty of time to play along! At the end of the month, Kelley will give away a $25 gift certificate to one lucky participant! Have you wanted to start scrapbooking more? I know I have been wanting too!  Well, NOW is the time to start! Invite your scrappy friends, your cardmaking friends, and let's get started! Join us here Tuesday, January 4th, for the first challenge along with a few inspiration samples!

Now about the man in Brown.... Check out what he brought me!!! The new Spellbinders Grand Calibur! This machine GLIDES like butter (SO Smooth) and smoothly cranks BOTH ways into your machine!!!

The machine comes with three plates and an embossing pad...

There is a dial that locks your machine down to your table to add a more stable base as you turn the handle...

BEST OF ALL - The machine comes with 3 color coated and labeled plates!!!! The first thing I thought was "Die-cutting and Embossing for Dummies" like me... LOL when I saw the color coded and labeled plates. I absolutely LOVE it though because there is NO MORE guessing which plates go where!!!

I will be using this GRAND machine through out the year and sharing lots of projects with it!!! I am excited because I do not have to trim my paper down I can use an entire sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock in it!!!!

Now with all of that excitement, I need to finish my cup of coffee and get on with my day! Thank you all for stopping by! Have a wonderful day and Happy New Year!!!
