ODBDSLC41 Inspiration challenge

Hello and Welcome to my Blog today! Yesterday we spent the day going to Rescue Shelters on a hunt for a new cat to add to our family. One place had 10 cats and I had the feeling that even if we liked them, they were NOT going to give any of them up - I think they liked them too much! The second place we went had over 50 cats to look at, and that was overwhelming! After watching the children play for about an hour, we decided to go home and think about it. The children wanted a kitten, but it is so hard to know what their personalities will be like at such a young age and I have specific wants in the personality department of a cat! So today, my husband and I may go to another animal shelter or go back and get one of the cats we saw last night! Exciting! If we get a cat, I will be sure to share pictures this coming week!

As you know - today is SATURDAY and that means it is ODBD Shining Light Challenge Day! I have only a few more weeks of being on this beloved team and then - I have a new opportunity within the ODBD Team! I am very excited about this opportunity!

BLOGGERS CHALLENGE #181 HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Go Here for some Blog Candy!

Good Morning! Today, we all are a bit excited because we are going to an animal shelter to look at cats. Funny thing is... until this week when we had to put our other cat down, I always thought my husband was the "cat person." I told him last night over dinner that I had a cat shaped hole in my heart and I think I need a new cat to complain about before the end of the year! LOL So he said I could!!!

Todays Bloggers Challenge is to create something with a BIRTHDAY THEME. I chose to make a BIRTHDAY GIFT for my grandmother! I used the Technique Junkies Newsletter Fancy Fold and Motion Paper Cd. There are Birthday cards in this cute little Box! I just love the technique cd, so MANY great ideas! This cd would make a GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFT, if you have not ordered it yet! You can find out more about it on my side bar (on the right).
