ODBDSLC28 Forgotten Embellishments- Buttons, Brads or Eyelets

Hello Everyone - HAPPY SATURDAY! This next week we will have a lot of company in addition to starting school. BUSY! BUSY!  This past week we had 5 doctors appointments! Hours of sitting and waiting. I am NOT used to that! OY! Not fun, but finished for now...

Today is the Shining Light Challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs! Our challenge this week is to use some of those forgotten embellishments in your stash. Use Buttons, brads or eyelets on your card.
To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize , a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Thursday, September 9 on the Our Daily Bread Designs BlogOne random winner will be chosen and announced next Saturday. We will even choose a few Shining Light Awards for those who participate. Check out the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog for even more details!
For my card, I stamped the Our Daily Bread Designs Keep My Lamp Burning on Glossy card stock and Staz On Black Ink. I used my November Spectrum pad and my brayer and went over the entire image a few times until I achieved the color I was looking for. I stamped the image again on vellum card stock, using Black Staz On and cut out the image. I attached the image to the glossy cardstock using a Spray adhesive.

Here are a few more details:
Stamp Set: Our Daily Bread Designs Keep My Lamp Burning
Ink and Cardstock: Not Quite Navy, Elegant Eggplant, Olive, Glossy White CS, Vellum
Accessories: Brayer, November Spectrum Pad, Eggplant RickRAck, Cropodile, Jumbo Brads, Rounded Tab Punch, Sponge, White gel Pen

I can guarantee Inspiration when you check out the other Design Team members projects! Check out their blogs here:

Enjoy your weekend! Thank you for stopping by!

OH Chrissy this is stunning!!! I love how you colored the bg with the spectrum pad and then the vellum adds just the right softness to the colors for the lighthouse! You are so clever and this one should be framed!!! Stunning!!!
