BLOGGERS CHALLENGE #199 - LOVE

Hello and Happy Friday! Today is Bloggers Challenge Day and this week our theme is LOVE! One thing many people may not know, is my husband and I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to adopt a sweet child. She is now a 19 yo beautiful young lady! We adopted Ariel back in 1997. We went through some very turbulent years, but learned a lot through the experience and love her and are SO proud of her too!

I am THRILLED to be a Guest Designer for Paper Temptress, this month. Be sure to be on the look out for more projects using this FABULOUS paper and card stock!!! Their motto is, "No matter what color, weight, or type of card stock and now ribbon that you want, you will ALWAYS find it at PaperTemptress.com!" Be sure to check them out and let them know I sent you over. :)

On this project, I used the Black Licorice Premium Glossy paper, Metallic Text weight Jupiter Red, , Vintage Silver Lustre  - You can see the texture of the paper on the Silver Lustre and the sparkle on the Metallic Jupiter Red paper on this close up.

I also used the Technique Junkie technique called Glossy Gesso from the Dec '10/ Jan '11 Issue.

Great card -- and I just know it is luscious in person, since it is Paper Temptress Paper! The Adoption stamp from IB4S is wonderful, too.

Adoption is the most selfless act of love in my book -- to give a child a home and love them as your own is showing Christ's love and a perfect example! This sentiment is one I have loved forever -- beautiful card!
