Hello Everyone - Have you ever had something you were SO excited about for weeks but had to keep it quiet? Here at SCACD we've been "die"ing to mix things up!  So, this month we have the launch of two awesome new Collections.

Before we get into this a bit more...If you started here, you may want to head back to the FOLLOW YOUR HEART BLOG so you can see all of the gorgeous artwork from the beginning. If you arrived here from  Alex's blog, you are in the right place!
First is a fantastic new line of dies.  Susana has collaborated on a collection of dies with a timeless, classic feel.  Delicate and beautiful, the diecuts from these high quality wafer thin metal dies will be featuring on your projects for years to come!

Second is a wonderful new direction for SCACD.  Susana is following her heart with a new line of Mixed Media stamps.  For those of you who are new to the concept, Mixed Media is a style that embraces creativity and experimentation. Let SCACD take you on a new creative adventure with the Blank Canvas Collection.  From the beginner to the mixed media enthusiast, these stamps will have the creative juices well and truly flowing!

Each set in the collection comprises looks, perfect for mixing it up with different techniques.  Use the elements set to enhance the blank canvas silhouettes, or use them on their own for gorgeous effects.
In addition there is a fabulous set of word outlines, ready to be customized however you like!  Color them in, doodle, zentangle, paper piece - go wherever your creativity takes you.
Here are TWO creations using the new Dies by SCACD - called the Butterfly Vase and Garden Corners.

How to create the border: Cut 4 corners,  Cut 2 of the die cuts in half right down the middle. Run all of them through a Xyron or use a Glue pen and place adhesive on the back. adhere with the center of the hearts and leaf over lapping (as pictured below) Take the other two remaining die cuts and cut out the hearts and adhere those on the connected portion of the cut dies.

Here are the details on my projects...
CuttleBug Brocade Embossing Folder, Viva Pearl Pen Ice White, Core'dinations Cardstock, Concord Grape card stock and Vintage Silver Lustre Paper, Zva Pearls Small, Doodlebug Sticker Mini Jewels, Paper piercing tool, Mat Pack, Sakura Quickie Glue Pen

On my next card, I used the Technique Junkie Newsletter and the Background Burst Extension - April May 2010

Here are the details: Susana Loves Stamps Blank Canvas Collection,  Authentic Words Collection,  Maya Road Leaf PinViva Pearl Pen: Red, Diamond Glaze, Viva Pearl Pen Black, Pastel Chalks, Sponge Daubers, Spellbinders Nestibilities Circles, Bakers Twine Primary, Sticky Thumb Dimensionals
