TAG BOOK - 3-D and Fun Folds!

Happy Thursday! We have made it over the HUMP! Believe it or not, but for us, Thursdays are a more difficult Home School Day over Monday. Wednesday evening, my gremlins participate in an AWANA program at our church and they get home a bit later and are wound up from all of the fun. As hard as I have tried, they do NOT sleep in on Thursdays and they are SOOO cranky and unpleasant to be around! So we do steady plodding, lots of reading and mom (me) need LOTS of patience and prayer to get through the day. Once we hit the afternoon, we are better. :)

Have you gotten your copy of the 3-D and Fun Folds cd yet? This project comes in the Cd!!! What a wonderful encouraging gift to give and it is EASY to make too! Just takes a little time to decide what stamps and what papers to use!

This CD contains 70 pdf tutorials in step-by-step pictorial format --
 all printable to 8-1/2” x 11” paper.

Ideas for gifts, Boxes, Ornaments, Decorative Items, and plenty of fun Card ideas, too.
Perfect dimensions, great examples -- it is a must have!

This CD will be mailed the week of November 1st, 2011.

LET IT GROW!!!

Hello! I just came in from outside. Here is SE Wisconsin, we got 5 inches of snow. Two of my children or should I say SON, generously shoveled 2 of our neighbors drive ways and ours. I thought I would give him a break, so I went out and shoveled the heavy, wet snow the snow plows pushed into the end of the drive way. I have now become reacquainted with my mid section again. What a good reminder to stay on the treadmill and start weight training !!! LOL

Yesterday, I took 45 minutes to stamp for FUN! Some times with having created my Stamping Passion into a business, I forget that it is important to play. I absolutely LOVE Mo's Digital Pencil Images from Maurie Manning, and I have not played with them in awhile, so I thought what better way to PLAY than with her images and challenge!

This week's Challenge was "PLAY TIME" . This CUTE  image is available only through Help For Katie - Katie Emmerson Renz married to Kevin with 3 beautiful boys the twins Nate & Will aged 5 and Hunter aged 10 had some news just before Christmas that has rocked their world as they know it. Katie has been diagnosed with stage 4 Stomach Cancer and is currently undergoing her only option which is Chemotherapy.

You can find out more information about HELP FOR KATIE HERE -http://www.jakheath.com/2011/01/help-for-katie.html

I also used the Splitcoast Stampers Clean and Simple Challenge to use an Inspired image by Cindybestampin. You can see more details HERE. And I used the Technique Junkie Newsletter, Sanded Coordinations Technique

HEART TO HEART

Hello Friends- I am sorry for taking a few days off last week, it was not my intention. I had one of those weeks of sheer exhaustion and could not seem to get my act together. I went in my office several days and just sat there - looking at my mess. I did get a few cards started, so I will finish those up this week, but didn't have enough drive or motivation to finish anything but this card...One sad thing, was that even caffeine didn't help! ;)

Todays card comes at you from Mo's Digital Pencil and I used their Sketch Challenge as my inspiration... I just love this image - I am going to give this card to my Sweetheart. Lord willing, we will have many, many years together...

Clean and Simple #19 Mo Style

Hello! We are under a Winter Storm Watch here in Wisconsin with a possible 6-9 inches. I am hoping for 9 inches! Really! If it has to SNOW - make it PRETTY! I grow weary of the brown/ gray look outside with muddy looking snow. NOT PRETTY!

The card I created today is for the Mo's Digital Pencil 2 Challenge #19. Use white or cream cardstock, your image from Mo's Digital Pencil, and one ribbon.. it's that simple... and, no additional layers! This month they have a spot opening up on their Design Team and you have to participate in their challenges all month - so I am in love with Mo's images and would LOVE to join their DT!

Here are the details:
Digital Image: Sophie
Cardstock: White
Accessories: Blue Ribbon, Dew Drops, Mini Glue Dots
Ink: Copics

This is my little cutie pie snuggling with a cat who desperately wants to get away... REALLY - he wants to get away! LOL Mo's image of the cat and the little girl are really and truly what our household often looks like!

OK - I am now ready to go wash my face, change from my church clothes to some comfy cozy clothes and move to my office to create!

Thanks you for stopping by! Have a blessed day!!!

Hey, I am back with another card! You can scroll down one to see my other creation from this morning...

This is another one of Mo's Digital Pencils adorable images. What is SO funny about this image is that as SOON as I saw it, my two girls were right behind me and my 5 year old said, "HEY! Here are the details:

Ink: Copics, Versamark, Rose
Accessories: Oval Cutter, Paper Snips, Paper Piercing Tool, Dew Drops, Dimensionals, Heat Tool, Embossing folder, UTEE,

MOJO WOOD - SISTERS IN BRAYERED BRILLIANCE!

Happy Wednesday! For those of you following my weight loss, I am changing my weigh in day to Friday. One thing I have realized in a bad habit of weighing myself every day... is that I jumped back on program on a Friday after the Christmas holiday. Fridays tend to be the days I have a decrease in my weight, rather than Wednesdays. So I decided to switch it to that day! SO be on the look out for that on Friday. I can tell you though that so far I am DOWN this week. Woohoo!

Ok - now about my card - I LOVED the MOJO Sketch this week, and made another card you can see HERE or I will be posting it on my Blog next Wednesday too.

The Background on this card is a Technique Junkies technique from the February/ March 2010 newsletter called Brayered Brilliance and Pierced Patterns. Super easy and FUN too!

Another challenge - Mo's Digital Pencil Too Challenge #17 was to create a project with WOOD or WOULD or FAUX WOOD - this bench has WOOD in it. You can see another project I created for this challenge HERE.

Another challenge was the Stampers Sisters in Christ - to use TWO of the same type of item to TWO kinds of each item to make your ONE creation. An example would be as follows: 2 different colors of cardstock, 2 different pieces of patterned paper, 2 pieces of ribbon, 2 brads, 2 buttons, and so on. My project uses TWO TECHNIQUES! HERE is the direct link to this challenge.

Here are a few more details:
Stamp Sets: Mo's Digital Pencil, Sisters, Kind Thoughts SU (BG)
Cardstock: Glossy, Pomegranite, Pirhuoette Pink, Regal Rose, White
Accessories: Nestibilities, Brads, Double stitched Rose Ribbon, Pink Candy Brad, Paper Piercing Tool, Dimensionals

Thanks so much for taking a peak and leaving me a comment! I appreciate your kindness! have a fabulous day!

Having Fun With Mo's Pencil...

Hello! I hope you have had a wonderful weekend. I have spent the weekend remembering my friend, but also ENJOYING my family. GOD has blessed me with such a wonderful family - so I spent LOTS of time snuggling with them.

This past week, as I was popping around some websites, I discovered a new company and images to fall in love with.

Mo's Digital Pencil - WOW is all I can say. I love her images and this one to the left is no exception. As soon as I saw it, it made me think of my sisters. Growing up, we always had this look on our faces - torturing one another. Now, years later, we have a good relationship and I count them amongst my many blessings.

This card uses LOTS of challenges and even a Technique from technique Junkies...

For starters - Our Creative Corner had a sketch challenge HERE, so I followed that for my card. Then Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog offered up a color challenge! We were to use Bashful Blue, Eggplant, Almost Amethyst and White - Here is the challenge link for #15. Last but not least - I used Technique Junkies Newsletter - Color Outside the Lines - to color this image . The Stampin' Sister's In Christ #23 offered up the challenge based on the Scripture 1 Peter 1:23 "For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God." For this challenge, since most seeds come up as tiny green shoots, use the color green somewhere in your creation, not all over green, just a touch somewhere. I colored the frog green! :)

Here are the details for this card...
Stamps: Step Sisters by Mo's Digital Pencil, SU Circle of Friendship
Ink: Copics
Technique: Color Outside the Lines, Nov- Dec TJN
Accessories: Punches, Cuddlebug Border, SU Scallop Edge Punch, Pearl gems, White Grosgrain, Dimensionals, White Gel Pen

Keep on heading downward for another fabulous image from Mo!!!

Congratulations to Karen Barber for being chosen! WOW What a gallery of GORGEOUS work!!!

Here is what I cased:
I changed the image, colors, embellishments and the border along the top

Stamps: Video game Teen by Mo's Digital Stamps
Cardstock:DCWV Nana's Kids DP, Brocade Blue, Garden Green
Ink: Copics
Accessories:
Twill, Hodgepodge, Metal Birthday embellishment, Dimensional, Paper Piercing, Mat Pack

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking a peak! I appreciate your kind comments! They make my day!

Have a blessed day and HUG your loved ones, even if they annoy you sometimes. ;)
