Did you all have a nice weekend? We had a wonderful weekend! It was actually the first in a VERY long tim we did not have ANY plans on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, it was my dear 10 year old daughter's birthday and went to some dear friends' 50th Wedding Anniversary. We told her while we were there (jokingly) that the party was going to be her celebration and that we weren't going to have a separate cake....that the cake there was going to be her Birthday cake. :) I did not ask, but our DEAR friends, did some speaking at the party and right before they served the cake they graciously called her up to the front and everyone at the party sang her Happy birthday! She was beaming. I wish I had my camera then! :)

This week, has A LOT happening here - so be sure to come back every day!!! :) Tomorrow, we will kick off the Mark's Finest Papers Blog Hop, so be sure to come back!

PS - We did get my BIRTHDAY GIRL a small Birthday cake. I didn't want a huge cake here all week for me to look at and drool over!

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you have a great day!!!

Paper Temptress - Color Sandwich

Hello Friends! Welcome to my little corner of the world! I hope this finds you well. Over at Our Daily Bread Designs Blog is our Scrapbook Challenge and while this doesn't use an ODBD stamp today, I wanted to put a shout out for you to check out the challenge and some Inspiration from Patter and Lorelie, too!

My page today uses the shimmery and FABULOUS card stock from The Paper Temptress. If you have NOT checked out their store, let me encourage you to do so. Patricia really knows how to wet our appetites for high quality, beautiful papers! I used the Silver Lustre package, which helped add to the technique I used!

The technique I used is from the
Technique Junkie Newsletter and the technique called Color Sandwich to add a soft colored background.

The stamps/ images are from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, I believe they are retired now. I also used the ZVA Pearls and the
Ecstasy Small Template from ODBD

We have a busy day planned today, so off I go! I hope you have a blessed day! Thank you for stopping by!
