Another Double Pocket Card - Chocoholic!

Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps has a group that I am a part of and this weeks challenge was to make a Double Pocket Card. I had already done one, you can view that one here.

I am not normally a chocolate person - But this makes my mouth water! LOL you know what is strange? Those brads are actually pink, but they look a bit greyish to me. Hmmm Bad scan, I guess. My hubby has the camera this weekend.

This is a new stamp set from Stampin' Up!. It will be available in the new 2008-09 Fall- Winter catalog. Stampin' Up! sent it to any demonstrator who attended Regionals and placed a certain $$$ amount order within a few weeks of attending.

Bloggers Challenge #47 Knight In Shining Armor

This weeks Bloggers Challenge was to use the sketch of the puppy card on Page 21 in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

This stamp set is Sweet 'n Sassy's Knight In Shining Armor set. Isn't he cute?

This afternoon, I took a group of my dd's friends to see the movie Prince Caspian - kind of reminds me of that. Great movie too!

I put tiny glimpes of Stickles on the helmet, flag and the sword to make it shine -

Copics I used were: R81, E00, E47, C5, R29

Accessories: Paper Snips - Styled Silver Brads, White Gel Pen.

Do- Overs - Summer By The Sea

Do you ever make a card or a project that you are not happy with? Well this project that I made earlier - did not look "RIGHT" to me - so I took it apart and changed it to the 2 cards below -


For details on this card- Stamp Sets: Sweet Shapes, Summer by the Sea - the words was a stamp I had made for me.
Cardstock and Ink: Daisy D's Gypsy Harvest,Elegant Eggplant, Basic Black, Black Staz On, Shimmery White - I would not use this again for watercolor but was playing around today.
Accessories: Dew Drops, Mini Glue Dots, 1/4inch circle punch, Coluzzle, Paper piercing Tool, Prima flowers, Dimensionals












For this card - I added the Scriptures from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps called The Word.

For this project - I added more Ruby Red to the water colored image and stamped Kind Thoughts from Stampin' Up! using Vanilla Craft ink. The chipboard I painted with Making Memories Paint and mixed it with the Glimmer mists -

Since we have not had many participants that have shared their artwork - I decided to give a prize to one of our regular participants - Holly Brown.

Here are the details - I made this for Sarah's Preschool Teacher - I put floral foam in the base using a Hot glue gun to keep it firmly in place. The dum-dum suckers I stuck in the floral foam to make it look like a flower pot!

Today is Splitcoast Stampers Color Challenge day

My 16 yo daughter LOVES this stamp, so I made this card to give to one of her friends.

Have you ever had a week where things aren't coming together as you like? I think I am having on of those weeks. LOL Here is a second card I am not completely happy with. Maybe it is the colors -

The colors though look so yummy in the color challenge samples - but this does not look yummy. LOL It is a bit more vibrant in real life - but here in this picture it falls flat.
