CPS SKETCH AND COPIC COLOUR CHALLENGE

Hello! This week Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps is sponsoring the CPS Sketch Challenges...
Have you ever had an Ah-Ha Moment? I have been reading the book pf Proverbs to my children and yesterday we were reading in Proverbs 4-6 and what spoke to my heart yesterday was the following verse...
Proverbs 6:1-5 My son, if you become surety (indebted to or in hock) for your friend, If you have shaken hands in pledge for a stranger, 2 You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth. 3 So do this, my son, and deliver yourself; For you have come into the hand of your friend: Go and humble yourself; Plead with your friend. 4 Give no sleep to your eyes, Nor slumber to your eyelids. 5 Deliver yourself like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, And like a bird from the hand of the fowler."
What did I get out of this Scripture? The past few months, I have been wanting to join Design Teams and have made a commitment to a few different ones - the Copic Colour Design Team and this past week to Kimm Bt Thompsons Copic Design Team. These two groups of Designers are so talented, who wouldn't want to be amongst their group?
While I made a commitment to them, the past few weeks with school happening, joining the Technique Junkies Design Team - thinking I can do it all. Well, I can't and it is affecting my desire to WANT to stamp. It has become stressful rather than JOYFUL. I made a mistake and over-committed myself, so I had to humble myself and step down from a few things. So this week will be the last time you will see a "regular posting" on the Copic Colour Challenge. I will still participate but it will not be as a Design Team member.
I want to do my best in everything I do, for God's glory and I have been failing in that area for the past few weeks.

Chrissy, both cards are lovely. I agree -- that color combo is a great one. I really like your stamps choice for the CPS challenge -- I think it ties in really well with the lesson you took from your Scripture reading. It is *so* hard to humble ourselves, isn't it, but you did it, and I'm so proud of you, and I'm sure God is, too!
