MAY MAYHEM MADNESS - Bloggers Challenge

Hello! Welcome to the MAY MAYHEM themed Blog Hop for Firecracker Designs By Pamela!

The official start time of this Hop is Friday, at 8:00 AM(EST). If you arrived early, please be patient as all the links may not be live yet.

Todays BLOG HOP has a MAY MAYHEM...
Create something grungey & distressed. The more mayhem, the merrier. Well, this challenge was difficult to me, so I went to two very talented people's blogs for some inspiration - Gerrie Johnnic and Shelly Hickox. Both of these talented designers are on the Technique Junkie Design Team with me and I knew they would not disappoint me with INSPIRATION!

I combined this Blog Hop with the BLOGGERS CHALLENGE... I missed last week - but in order to catch up, I made TWO cards this week!

The first card uses the Bloggers Challenge from last week that was a COLOR CHALLENGE! We were to use the colors Teal, Red and Curry... those colors do not lend to the grunge affect very well, but I took the challenge!

Here are the details:
Cardstock: Polka dot DP by SU, Vanilla, Teal, Red
Accessories: Brads, Distresser, Stickles, Ribbon, Lace inked with Curry ink, Copics, Nestibilities

This week's challenge is this SKETCH. I turned it to the side and moved the circles up a bit...

BCMaysketch

Here are the details for my card:
Cardstock: Coordinations, Vanilla, Chocolate, Sage, DP (sorry do not recall the name!)
Accessories: Copics, Rough Texture Wheel, Dimensionals, Paper Snips, Distresser, Bling Gems

This is a “circular blog hop” where the only beginning is wherever you start!! You will know you are at the end of your blog hop when you’ve come back to the blog you’ve started from! (It’s not a huge circle…so it should be easy to remember where you started.)

**To find out if you’ve won… you will be contacted by Pamela via e-mail (so be sure to leave it with your comment.) and you can also find out on Pamela’s blog after the blog hop ends on Mon, at 8:00 PM (EST).**

Now, to continue the circle, you will need to hop on over to the talented MICHELLE'S BLOG and keep going until you’ve come back to where you’ve started!

Thanks so much for playing along with us and we hope you have a great time! You can check out the other Blogger Challenge participants projects click on the side bar that says BLOGGERS Challenge!

FCD is looking to start our very first Digi Design Team!! If you are interested in applying please read this blog post for details! Hurry! Applications must be in by May 25th! Midnight EST! (DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MAY 25)

Have a wonderful weekend!

You may not think your curry, teal and red card lends to grunge, but I think it is adorable! Love the entire card and think it is just flat gorgeous. And the dragon sentiment and then your image are perfect -- I'm always amazed at your work!

Wonderful job with both card. The color challenge looked great and had just the right amount of "grunge" but I really, really liked that Dragon card!
