BLOGGERS CHALLENGE SKETCH & CHRISTMAS COLLAGE

BCnovsketch

Hello! Happy Friday! Today, we are heading out to see the Musical "School House Rock" put on by the Christian Youth Theater. We are very excited to be going... okay... maybe I am more excited. I bought the dvds of School House Rock and truthfully, my kids thought they were lame. They didn't have anything to do with Star Wars, so what good are they? LOL When they are in the 7th grade they will appreciate the I'm just a Bill and other songs about government... Besides, what could be MORE fun to learning than having a SONG to go with the lesson? Ahhh the beauty of home schooling! I love it!

My husband bought me a new camera and oh my... I LOVE IT. The picture quality is fabulous! I can take the first shot and not have to alter it too much. MARVELOUS. Such a huge time saver. For those of you wondering what kind he bought me it is a Canon Power Shot SX130IS. I do not know a lot about electronics, so what is nice is I can point and shoot. LOL

Todays challenge was a Bloggers Challenge - SKETCH! To see more creations from the Blogger Challenge participants - click on the link on my side bar!

Todays card uses I Brake For Stamps new release Christmas Collage. Gorgeous set with so much versatility!!! One note... if you are a Technique Junkie, in the next issue there is a technique that is PERFECT with Collage type sets, so now would be a great time to get a few of these fabulous sets for this technique. And... for those of you who are NOT a Technique Junkie, what are you waiting for?

My card uses the latest cd available here (on the side bar) or soon will be available at I Brake For Stamps. This cd is WONDERFUL! This CD contains 60 tutorials in step-by-step pictorial format -- all printable to 8-1/2" x 11" paper. Perfect dimensions, great examples -- it is a must have! I have many different projects using this featured on my blog the past few weeks, so scroll down and check them out! I just created this card using the Side Step Card from the Technique Junkies Fancy Folds and Motion Cd

I used the  creamy, shimmery paints from Creative Inspirations. The colors I used for shading are Garnet, Burgundy, Gold, Antique Gold, denim, Evergreen and Royal Blue. The Creative Inspirations Team even hosts challenges on Sunday at the blog, so be sure to check them out. These paints are affordable AND fun and versatile! You can see lots of tutorials too HERE.
