Hello Everyone!!! Can you believe the month of March is over already? I can hardly believe the way the year is flying by! Our Enrichment program is done and I have my Mondays free again! I can not express how good that feels. My children are disappointed, but it has allowed me a bit more freedom. It also means that our school year is almost done! You can only imagine how good that will feel! *SMILE*
Since it is April, it is time for our new Let Your Light Shine Scrapbook Challenge at Our Daily Bread Designs. This month our challenge is an INSPIRATION CHALLENGE based on this photograph.
You may use the colors, the flowers, the butterflies, etc. as your inspiration! Whatever strikes your fancy!
Here is my design along with the details and close ups...
ODBD Sets Used: Fish Background, Faith
I used the colors for my inspiration...
If you look closely, I stamped the Fish Background, on white card stock to create a back ground.
The flourish and flowers are Tim Holtz dies. I used a sponge dauber and sponged them.
I used the Ornare and the Paper Piercer on the card stock I journaled on and added Dew Drops to further accent the page.
I typed up letters and printed them off and punched them out with 1/4" square punch. I used mini glue dots to adhere them to the page.
Here are the requirements for the challenge...

**Other stamps are allowed, but ODBD images need to be the focus!

Chrissy, it's been awhile since I visited. This is a lovely page! The tiny fish bg is perfect, and the flowers are gorgeous! Beautiful colors.
This is so beautiful! Love the sentiment and the background.
Great pictures as always.
Wow, Chris! This is FABULOUS! I love how you tied the little fish background in with this page. The colors are just beautiful. I love all of the little touches you added...like the ...pierced...paper... (humor...get it?) LOVE the flowers! They are amazing! The whole layout is wonderful...and your models did a wonderful job!
