On a personal note, I am deeply saddened today. I found out that my older brother passed away this week. While I did not know him very well, I have only met him a handful of times. My heart aches knowing that I never will know him even though there was a desire to know him better. My heart also aches and prays for my family members who knew him well and loved him.
In memory of my brother, Troy James Wilkening. 10/25/1967 - 10/9/2011
Hold on to your loved ones! Call them and tell them you love them! Thank yo for stopping by and taking a look! Have a blessed day!

Wonderful cards.
Wonderful art Chrissy. So sorry to hear of your loss. It does make you appreciate the "here and now" and of course family much more though so some good comes out of sadness in a way doesn't it. I am still recovering from losing my younger brother a year ago.

Your cards are so pretty, and I especially like the look of the top note with the cardinal! I'm sorry you didn't get to know your brother very well before his passing. Sometimes life is just too short for us to say and do all the things we want to:(
