LAZY, HAZY DAYS OF SUMMER

Hello! Have you ever been in a season where you know life is going to change in a few weeks? I am there right now. Preparing for our fall schedule. It has been such a busy summer with having to work to help make ends meet and our school season starting next week too. We have had a lot of fun this summer too. With the hot, humid weather and my work schedule, I did not get to the beach as often as I intended but I enjoyed some good books and lots of quiet time mingled in. I hope you enjoy EACH MOMENT of your remaining summer too!!!

My card today uses QKR STAMPEDE images - Cute and Quirky! As I made this card, I threw in a few challenges as well... they are...

Stampin' Sisters in Christ: Challenge: create a card of apology or one reaching out to someone and encouraging them to put the past behind them and move forward. Based on this beautiful Scripture Philippians 3:13-14 "Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."  (my card signifies the hope of forgiveness!)

Paper Take Weekly - WHITE AND BRIGHT
Penny's Paper Craft - ANYTHING GOES
MelJen's Designs Challenges - CLEAN AND SIMPLE
Pile It On - A LITTLE BIT COUNTRY, A LITTLE BIT ROCK & ROLL

Here are a few more details on my project:
Stamps: QKR Stampede - Break Time and Love Faith Hope
Cardstock: Blue, White, Black
Accessories: Martha Stewart Scor-pad, 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Paper Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, Striped Ribbon from SU
TECHNIQUE: Spot Lighting

At the end of the week, we will be celebrating BACK TO SCHOOL with our
School DAZE  Days BLOG HOP! I hope you will come back and join us!

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

I love this! I saw you put spotlight...when I first saw your card, and saw only the one part colored, something inside me lifted into HOPE! Funny how we all are inspired by another's card...well, if one part of us can be colored so beautifully...guess it can keep going!!! Good thing GOD made us all so different. Thank you so much for this inspiration...However on earth it hit me....IT WORKED!!! Samara
