NO BONES ABOUT IT - GLIMMER RIBBONS

Hello Friends - Thank you for popping in! I am awake MUCH earlier than I normally am! The LORD woke me up at 4 am this morning and told me to GET UP! lol I have had a heavy heart lately due to many friend's going through difficult seasons - so the LORD prompted me to get up and PRAY. After an hour, HE said, GET UP and start planning your fall schedule.  Funny thing is... some mornings I can sleep until 7 am and still wake up foggy minded, but this morning at 4 am, my mind is clear.

I grabbed a note book from my shelf this morning and found that I had written some thoughts and prayers in it back in 2001... Do you know what? I do not EVER RECALL writing it - but my oh my, the LORD must have downloaded some good things for me in preparation of the years to come. As I sit back and read it, I see HE was preparing me for things that were to come...I can see that NOW, looking back. May I encourage you, if you have not already started doing so - take a few minutes each day to record what the LORD is telling you... I have to say, the past few years with the busy-ness of my children, I have fallen away from journaling. However, as I read through what I wrote a few short years ago, I am reminded how the LORD can speak to us and what a beautiful testimony and encouragement to see where we have walked before and to evaluate where we are today.

The past few weeks have been crazy busy for me as I prepare for upcoming activities and projects! Be on the look out this fall as things come around! I will have lots of cool things to share with you!

Chris,
Thanks so much for sharing your inpirational post today. I too have been going through such a dry season. Sometimes it seems that it will NEVER end... then I have to sit back and think about why and I am always assured there is a reason.. the thought comes to mind "just wait and see". I too used to journal everyday but like you with the busy-ness of family it has gone on the back burner and I really do miss it. I miss sitting on the swing in the early morning with my coffee, my journal and pen. Hummm maybe that is just what I need. Thanks for reminding me. Hang in there Hun... God is on your side. Oh before forget your card is beautiful.
Have a great day
Hugs,
Sally

I love the glimmer in your card- and the cute dog image! I woke up early, but God told me to go back to bed! I did not sleep much at my parents home... I like the idea of journaling and have never been much of a writer- how awesome to look back years and see what you wrote and to be so open to know what God wants for you- I am always feeling that I get those messages as well.

LOve your post about the messages we receive. I am also a firm believer that we all receive messages if we just take the time to listen.
My best way to know he is speaking and I am not listening is when something physical happens to my body...it is the only way I slow down.
I will keep you in my daily thoughts and pray you find some peace with what is troubling you.
Love the technique you shared today
Always enjoy your creations.

Your card is super cute! Sometimes God tries to wake me up in the middle of the night, but I usually roll over and go back to sleep. Maybe someday I will catch on and actually get out of bed. :-)
