For those of you who were following my weight loss... I am BACK ON PROGRAM and will return to Wednesdays as my Weigh In day! I am on DAY TWO now and told my family last night to expect some CRABBINESS the next few days while I go through a detoxing period.

If you are looking for weight loss tips or encouragement in your weight loss, please check back here! Between October 2009 and February 2010, I lost 50 pounds! Over the past few months, I kept the majority off and have gained 7 pounds due to TOO MUCH ICE CREAM and making some bad choices. However, I am NOT defined by my weight and the ice cream I ate that is currently on my hips will not discourage me. I do have another 50 pounds I would like WILL lose.

Important note to those of you who are trying to lose weight... Just because you made a choice to eat something in the past, does not mean you need to  "just give up."" Keep pursuing your goal of losing weight. Do not think to yourself "Oh I blew it already, I might as well just go all out and eat whatever I want. I will start over tomorrow." As I was losing weight earlier this year, if I ate something "not on program", I immediately got back on program. I did not beat myself up emotionally, I just moved on, enjoyed the food, but returned my focus on my goal.

It is EVERY DAY choices that will help you achieve your goal not that one momentary lapse of judgement and eating some sort of junk.

If you would like to JOIN ME on my weight loss journey, you do not need to do the same plan as I am... I would like to encourage you! Let me know! I will offer a small, EASY weekly challenge  for you in your weight loss efforts...

Here is this week's Weight Loss Challenge: Make a list of reasons YOU WANT to lose weight and READ this list TWICE a day. Do NOT just glance at your least (twice a day), READ IT OUT LOUD!

These are SOME of the reasons I want to lose weight... (in no particular order)
1. I want to look good
2. Better Health
3. Higher Confidence
4. I do not want food to control me
5. More energy
6. Keep up with my children
7. Be attractive/ sexy for my husband
8. Be able to participate in sports with out feeling winded

You can continue to add to your list as you think of more reasons. If you would like to e-mail me, my address is chrissyd723@gmail.com - I would LOVE to know about your weight loss journey!

All right, I need to go take a shower and get on with my day! I hope you have a WONDERFUL day...filled with MANY blessings!

Thank you for stopping by and commenting.

Lovely, masculine card!

I really enjoyed reading your post. I recently turned 40 and am finding it harder and harder to keep the weight off. (In fact it is creeping up on me.) You have some very good points. Thank you for sharing with us.
