SNTODBD24 - SCRIPTURE!

 Hello Everyone! Thursday is here and while my week hasn't been overly busy, I feel like it has been busy in my head! Ever have days like that!? LOL Today is ODBD Stamping In Time Challenge(SNTODBD24)!  The assignment is Our Daily Bread Design stamps and the challenge this week is to use a scripture and to make it the focal point of your card!  We look forward to seeing what you create using ODBD stamps!

I created this Scripture Pull Out card several months ago! I love to make books like this for friends who are going through a difficult season. There is nothing more comforting than the WORD of GOD and knowing HE is present during our trials.

One of my favorite passages of Scripture is Psalm 46:1-5  God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled,Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn.
I am praying for a friend today as she is having a procedure! Trusting in the LORD as the doctors do their work and the LORD guides their hands.

Here is the project I created and the details listed under each individual "page." The first photo is the entire book opened...

This next photograph is the cover of the booklet...

Stamp Set: Don't Worry

Stamp Set: On Eagles Wings

Stamp Sets: Path of Life and From Me to You

Accessories: Nestibilities, Paper Snips, Dew Drops, Sponge, Scallop Punch, Chocolate Ribbon, gold cord, White Gel Pen, Copic Markers, Buttons, Twine, Chocolate Brads, Chocolate Satin Ribbon, Felt Flowers, Vellum, Mini Glue Dots

A few challenges I participated in...
Creative Card Crew: Anything Goes;
Splitcoast's Technique Lover's Challenge: Sponging (sponged the edges of the dsp, plus stenciled the inside of the Spellbinder die);

Oh...Chris--I am in love with this project! It is not only beautiful artistically...it is beautiful for the heart...for the soul. I can imagine giving a card of His love to someone who just had a loved one pass away. Or to someone who just had a baby...encouraging them with raising their child to know the Lord. OH, so many uses. I think this is amazing...how loving of you to make it for someone.

I am glad I found your blog, and that I am getting to know you a bit more and more as you write...and through your art work. YOU have a beautiful and generous heart. Thank you for sharing it with us.

He IS Able,
Traci S.
