BLOGGERS CHALLENGE #196 FABRIC HERRINGBONE

Hello!   This weeks challenge theme is Pattern Paper! BE CREATIVE with this weeks theme with some of these ideas...

You can alter something with PP - Try Iris Folding or the Herringbone Technique or

Try Tea Bag Folding

Earlier this week I made an Iris Fold project HERE. There is a tutorial linked up there as well.

I decided to try a new twist on the Herringbone technique from the Technique Junkie Newsletter and use the NEW SU Springtime Vintage fabric mixed with the Springtime Vintage DP.

I combined a few other challenges into this card. Christian Paper Crafts had a sketch challenge and their Bible Verse Thursday Challenge was based on  Ecclesiastes 3:11 states, "He makes all things beautiful in His time." The Stampin' Sisters In Christ have challenged to use the Scripture...Scripture: 2 Cor.5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." My new item on this card is the stamp set, the fabric, the paper and the gems!

Here are a few more details...

Wow, Chrissy! You are Super Designer when it comes to amazing folds and things like that! I love what you made. And, you used so many new things on it. I love how you shared both Scriptures with us again...can't see them too many times! It looks like it is all fabric...it reminds me of a quilt. And, I just love the butterflies!

Thanks for sharing!
