LET IT SNOW!!!

I have TWO posts today! You can see the second one HERE...
I have Blog Candy HERE

Hey!!! Happy Thanksgiving season! Have you been busy keeping track of all of the things you are Thankful for? Every day, we have been counting on our blessings - we take so many things for granted, so I try to take a bit of time to remember what those little things are and praise the one those things come from!

With the Christmas Season coming up, I Brake For Stamps is releasing some fabulous new designs from Sylvia Zet (a Whimsy Stamp product) !! You can see the latest release HERE. There are FIVE new designs and they are SO adorable!!!!

Have you ever colored an image and then dumped something ALL over the card stock? I colored three images from Sylvia Zet and then splattered ink all over the back ground! ACK! I ended up cutting the image out and mounting on the light blue paper to create the sky.

I used the Technique Junkie Newsletter August. September 2010 Issue and the Soft and Sparkly technique. (While you are there, take some to check out the latest cd too called 3-d and Fun Folds, it is FABULOUS)

Here are the details:
Stamps: Sylvia Zet Let It Snow
Cardstock: Basic Grey, Espresso, Whisper White, White Storm, Bashful Blue
Accessories: Martha Stewart Snow flake punch, Copics, White Signo Gel Pen, White Craft Ink, Copics, Flower Soft, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Gems, White satin ribbon, Scallop Eyelet Punch, Sponge

Hi Chris~

Sorry I haven't been around in a while. It has been quite the adjustment having Joshua leave for Basic Military Training in Texas. (I'm in FL...10 hours away!) I have only made 3 Christmas cards this year so far...does that tell you anything? I'm usually done by July or so.

Anyway...this card is great. And, the sky looks wonderful. Sometimes accidents can become wonderful things. I love this card...all of that dp is great...and so much texture. I love how you colored that tiny mouse. That must have been difficult with something so small! I love the colors you have used on her hair. I have been looking for a good recipe of copics for red heads. My family is made up of mostly red heads...although I guess Josh doesn't have any hair right now! Would you be so kind as to let me know what colors you use? Thanks for considering it!

I love her outfit...it looks paper pierced, it is so perfect. And, all of the puffy and sparkly parts look wonderful. It looks real, Chris. I am so glad that I stopped by today. This is a great card. I love all of your cards!

My email is below in case you want to share the copic numbers with me.
