Bloggers Challenge 51 - Pencilled Glories

Remember about 3 years ago when Prismacolor Pencils were on such a GREAT sale at Office Depot? Well, I HAD to buy them. I couldn't stop myself. But here it is 3 years later and guess how many times I have used them? ZERO!!!!! So today, I thought I would try my hand at coloring with them - I used NO GAMSOL or ANYTHING to blend the color in - this is just STRAIGHT COLORED PENCIL.

The Bloggers Challenge for this week was...can you guess? LOL To use Green Galore, Tempting Turqouise, and Pink - so this is what I came up with....I threw in a little black too.

Here is what I used to make this card:

Stamp Sets: SU Morning Soft, All in a Row, Tres Chic, Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps: Jesus Cares
Cardstock & Ink: Basic Black, Green Galore, Tempting Turqouise, Pixie Pink, Whisper White
Accessories: Rounded Tab Punch, Prismacolor Pencils, Paper Piercing Tool, Mat Pack, Corner Rounder, Black Grosgrain, Pretties Kit, Stardust Stickles

Be sure to check out the other Blogger Challenge Participants by clicking on the icon for a list!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for looking and commenting! I appreciate them! Have a blessed day!

Oh Chris, this is absolutely stunning. Love your black matting, which make the layers pop and actually tones the color down (if that's possible...lol) All the design features of your card are wonderful. Fabulous card.

Just beautiful, Chris. I would never have thought to use that stamp with these colors, but it totally works! Great job. Love the pearls too!

Very Very Pretty! How interesting that you've never used your Prisma Colors. My set is just about gone now so I'll be investing in a new one soon. Love what you did with that wonderful morning glory stamp.

Awesome card Chris! The morning glory is spectacular. I believe I have a boatload of those pencils and should probably drag them out some day too. :-)

You did a great job coloring that in. I'm not very good at coloring myself, so I REALLY appreciate a good coloring job. And I love the scallop layer behind it.
