BELLI CHALLENGE #45 - JESUS IS BORN
What is the Belli Challenge you ask?
Each week, I try to give us a challenge that will use things we have lying around our stamp rooms! With a constant flow of new things coming out, I tend to forget about the other things I have and they quickly become clutter!
This weeks, Belli Challenge is to make a project for Christmas. This month is one of the FEW times we use our Christmas stamps and make Christmasa projects - so let's CELEBRATE!!! You can make ANYTHING you wish AND combine challenges with your CHRISTMAS THEME.
Here is what you need to do...
1. Anyone Can Play! Spread the Word! :)
2. Make a completed project with a CHRISTMAS THEME. Share the link here in the comments linking to my Blog and CBC45. When you post to Splitcoaststampers or to your Blog, be sure and put CBC45 as the KEYWORD and mention of the challenge - with a link!
3. I will do a drawing and have a SPOTLIGHT FEATURE on my BLOG for the person whose name I draw! Last week's winner was BARB - check her beautiful project out HERE.
Here is what I used for this project:
First of all my inspiration came from a card in a craft magazine from last year. The paper, embellishments and stamps are different, but the lay out is very similar.
Stamp Set: Jesus Is Born (on sale this month!) by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and Encouragement also by SNS
Ink: Basic Black, Cranberry Crisp, Bravo Burgundy, Creamy Caramel
Cardstock: Ivory Confetti, Basic Grey DP Wassail, Basic Black
Accessories: Making Memories Rub Ons, Gold-Yellow Thread, Gold Brads, Needle (I actually hand sewed this!), sponge
Be sure to check out the FABULOUS Belli Challenge Design Team's creations!!! Leave them a comment! We all LOVE to know what you are thinking about what we create. I know it makes me SMILE when you leave me a comment.
