ODBD and The Man In Brown...

Happy New Year everyone!!! Today is our last day of vacation and tomorrow we will return to normal life.  I have two things to share with you that I am very excited about! For those of you that visit the ODBD blog, you may have seen a new category in the sidebar called "Scrapbook Team." Well, I am here to officially annouce that yes, Our Daily Bread Designs will now have a scrapbook team!!!! The amazing Patter Cross and myself will be the two team members for now, and other ODBD designers will be joining us for the challenges.

We will be challenging you each month to create layouts of any size using Our Daily Bread Designs stamps. We will run the challenge for a month with new inspiration for the same challenge every Tuesday. This will give you plenty of time to play along! At the end of the month, Kelley will give away a $25 gift certificate to one lucky participant! Have you wanted to start scrapbooking more? I know I have been wanting too!  Well, NOW is the time to start! Invite your scrappy friends, your cardmaking friends, and let's get started! Join us here Tuesday, January 4th, for the first challenge along with a few inspiration samples!

Now about the man in Brown.... Check out what he brought me!!! The new Spellbinders Grand Calibur! This machine GLIDES like butter (SO Smooth) and smoothly cranks BOTH ways into your machine!!!

The machine comes with three plates and an embossing pad...

There is a dial that locks your machine down to your table to add a more stable base as you turn the handle...

BEST OF ALL - The machine comes with 3 color coated and labeled plates!!!! The first thing I thought was "Die-cutting and Embossing for Dummies" like me... LOL when I saw the color coded and labeled plates. I absolutely LOVE it though because there is NO MORE guessing which plates go where!!!

I will be using this GRAND machine through out the year and sharing lots of projects with it!!! I am excited because I do not have to trim my paper down I can use an entire sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock in it!!!!

Now with all of that excitement, I need to finish my cup of coffee and get on with my day! Thank you all for stopping by! Have a wonderful day and Happy New Year!!!

Chrissy, I'm excited about the ODBD scrap challenges! And everyone loves the Grand Caliber -- I just have to get the crow bar out for my wallet and get it -- can you use it for everything? So my big shot, cuttlebug and sizzix machines can be donated somewhere?

That looks like an awesome machine. I have three and one is the Big Shot Pro, which also cuts like butter and had a 12 1/2 platform, so I can cut using 12" paper. I love that idea of color plates, as half the time, I can't find my clear ones in my stack of things! Enjoy!

Hi Chrissy~

I am so glad that you and Patter will be leading up an ODBD scrapbook section! I have about 15-20 scrapbooks started from as far back as 15 years ago...all different themes...my son (from birth-now...he is 21), my grandchildren, Alaska, Carribean, holidays, family, pets...you name it. Thank you for even "forcing" me to finish my wedding album...from 1999!!! This will be great! I am a fan already!

BTW, congratulations on such a wonderful gift. That would be great to fit a whole sheet of paper in there! How exciting. I can't wait to hear all about it, since I am sure I won't be getting one any time soon. I have my wonderful Cricut which does wonderful things...yet...on the shelf it sits! Congrats on everything, my friend!

He IS Able,
