See the Miracles...

Hello! I can not express enough how glad I am the holiday season is almost over. It was wonderful while it was here - I look forward to getting back into my routine!

Weight Loss update: In 3 months time, I lost 36 pounds! Yahoo! I went off my diet for one meal per holiday, during the celebration and sometimes snacks and desserts too. I didn't deprive myself at all. I had a 2 pound gain over New Years but quickly lost that by immediately going back on program!

Diet tip: If I knew I was going to eat something that was not healthy, I would eat healthy and reduce the quantity through out the entire day and even the day before and after. I planned how much and what I would eat. I did not always do perfectly, but I stuck close to those boundaries I set up ahead of time.

I decided to break down my goals for January:
Memorize a different Bible Verse a week
Dive deeper into God's Word
Lose 8 pounds
Start exercising 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week (haven't started a regular routine yet!)
Read a book on diet/ exercise 15 minutes a day
Get back to blogging by blogging at least 5 times a week.
Read and comment more on 10 blogs a day.

So with those goals listed, I will check back at the end of the month and let you know how I did! I will also list what my February goals are!

Now about my card...

I participated in the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoaststampers and my inspiration was HERE.

Stamps: Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps In His Time, SU Classic Backgrounds
Paper: Lilac, Turquoise, Coordinations Green, Black
Ink: Copics
Accessories: Dew Drops, Mini Glue Dots, 1 inch circle punch and 1 1/4 inch circle punch, White gel pen

Have a great day! Thank you for stopping by!

Great card Chrissy - Congratulations on the diet progress - I need to get back into it myself and seeing this is giving me the encouragement to do so. I really love your goals list and think I may follow the same outline because those are exactly what I am hoping to do this year (except I would like to loose 15 more pounds) - I am getting somewhat caught up with blogging, but still have much more to go. Hope is well and I will talk to you soon.

Hugs ~~ Janet

Such a lovely card Chrissy! The butterly is a beautiful image for your sentiment!
We do experience miracles everyday, if we choose to see them! :)

Love the diet tip, and reading your goals! We did the memorizing one verse a week, only we did it in the same chapter. So we actually memorized whole chapters or Psalms. A totally cool way to keep the word in your heart and coming out your mouth! Wishing you all the best in 2010!

Thanks for blessing me with your lovely comment on my Cute Daisy May card!

Blessings, Maria
