HELLO! I created a card for today, but I had THREE people say it was ugly. I tried to think outside of the box and go with different colors...but it had 3 vetoes...so I decided to skip posting it and spare you from seeing an ugly creation. Then after a few of you WANTED to see it, I am sharing it...now remember - I tried to spare you! LOL
I was playing with the Technique Lovers Challenge from yesterday (on Splitcoast Stampers). Instead of following the directions, I tried something different by using the Nestabilities as my frame, however, it didnt work out quite like I planned...
Courtney challenged us to make a masculine Valentine's Day Card. SO I thought these colors would be masculine, and they are...but this is just icky! LOL I like the lay out and had I used different colors, I think I would really like this card.

WOW! Neon green!!!! LOL I bet if you just changed the neon green paper, it would be a PERFECT guy card. LOL Cool idea to cut that little frame.

Tee HeeHee IT sure is reassuring to know that even very very talented designers still make a card they consider ugly once and awhile. I have seen worse elsewhere though....like on my stamp table!
Not in the ugly category by a long shot! Whoever said that to you must of been having a bad day! LOL Love the zanny green with the black.

Knock it off woman! LOL! It's not ugly! It has personality! ;)
It certainly isn't the "normal" Valentine's Day colours but I think you did well for a masculine version of the card and I liked the idea of the Nestabilities as a frame. Best wishes, Kym xxx
