O LITTLE TOWN OF BETHLEHEM...

Hello Again - I realized yesterday I haven't posted since Saturday. I was busy Sunday preparing for a class and spending time with my gremlins and then yesterday, I had 2 classes I teach for our Home School Enrichment Classes! I have such a great group of children in those classes. I really enjoy spending time with them.

This weekend, my children did some more raking and jumping in the leaves. They INSISTED I grab the camera and take their picture so they could ham it up - so here are a few more shots of them playing in the leaves....

Today, I am sharing a card I created with the BEAUTIFUL Embossing Arts image that is available over at I Brake For Stamps. I used Creative Inspiration Shimmer Paints  to paint this image.

Want to hear a funny thing? I thought it would be sooo cool to have this say "O Little Town of Bethlehem" kind of like the old days, ya know? Well, I just realized (yes, I can be slow sometimes...) that they probably didn't have electricity back then so the church wouldn't have been that well lit! LOL

Here are a few more details for you....

Love the kids playing in the pile of leaves! Your card is beautiful and funny how we forget little things like electricity!

I love the photos of the children in the leaves! It could only have been improved by you jioning in the fun!

Your card is great! I don't think they would have had electricity, but a friend once told me to add a bit of orangey-red to yellow to make it look like candle light! Try it on a scrap!

And, who says there wasn't electricity? They didn't exactly expect the Heavenly Host to arrive on that night either, did they? Who knows what happened to draw attention to the birth of our King of Kings, Our Lord of Lords?

I'll quiet down now...
I love it!
