Bloggers Challenge #55 and OCC Challenge

I decided to double up on Challenges this week. My dad had surgery on Wednesday, so my stamping time has been GREATLY reduced. The hospital was 90 minutes away and his house is an hour, so we have been travelling a lot.

Today, we went over to his house to fix his plumbing and I took a box of stamps with me, but did not get a chance to work on it.

So tonight, I am STAMPING! YAHOO. I am LATE on this weeks Bloggers Challenge, but here it is - the theme is BUGS or INSECTS so I used the butterfly from Stampin' Up!'s new stamp set Dreams du Jour.

The OCC Challenge is pictured here too. I used the Endless Designs stamp I purchased a few years ago and rarely use. I watercolored it using Barely banana, Apricot Appeal, Groovy guava, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Summer Sun and Garden Green ink pads with the Aquapainter.
The words I stamped crooked - ACK! I hate when I do that. I tried to tilt the cardstock and trim it up to help balance it, but I can still tell. Not to mention the ink BLOB on a few of the words. Ohhh...I forgot to mention, I used the NEW Scallop punch from Stampin' Up! too. I LOVE it!
Stamp Sets: Jesus Cares by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, Calla Lilies by Endless Designs, Dreams Du Jour by Stampin' Up!
Cardstock and Ink: Very Vanilla, Summer Sun, Barely Banana, Apricot Appeal, Groovy Guava, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Summer Sun,Garden Green.
Accessories: Apricot Grosgrain, Dew Drops by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, Golden Rod Stickles, Aquapainter, Dimensionals, Scallop Row by SU, Cropodile, Mini Glue Dots
Be sure to check everyone on the Bloggers Challenges Blog - they all did a beautiful job! Thank you for stopping by! Have a fabulous day!

How cool - it really reflects the details in the picture of the dining room. That would make a nice place card for a special dinner in that dining room!
